THE BASICS

My core values are:

1- Faith is the cornerstone of hope.  God has blessed my family and in turn, I bless him with my service.

2- Hard work is my committment.  It has helped build my character, knowledge, and determination.

3- Learning is my passion.  I'll never stop listening, reading, and watching.

4- Serving others is my calling.  Through civic service, nonprofit work, and volunteerism, I work to fullfill it.

5- Family is my reward.  Never to be taken for granted, friends and family are the foundation of a community.

 

Experience

  • Has served Bradley County as the Vice Chairman of the county commission, serving on committees for education, finance, juvenile justice, emergency management, law enforcement, and the storm recovery fund

  • Has created jobs and managed a small business as the owner of Stage AVL and The Venue Creekside

  • Has managed investments and established scholarships for students as Executive Director of the Cleveland State Community College Foundation

  • Serves as the Chairman of the Bradley County Education Committee

  • Has consulted nonprofits in Tennessee and surrounding states in areas of resource development, organizational planning, and leadership.

  • Published author and noted speaker in matters of educational reform, organizational development, and leadership
